There are two bolt, non-trem, V-Types hanging in the local guitar shop now, for $300(good price?). MusiciansFriend was selling some refurbished V-Types, are these the ones? And were the problems fixed? I liked the guitar and didnt see anything wrong with it, but u never know.
bump
bump, this guitar wont be there forever!
My current guitar is a V-Type, bolt-on, string thru without the shiny bindings and bells and whistles. I picked mine up for $250 and put a Dimebucker in--this guitar SCREAMS. Even the stock pickups are very good. I'm going to assume from your signature that you're into shredding, and this guitar was designed for metal according to Peavey's site. I'd be inclined to believe them . I love the indentations on the sides, very cool shape, and it's pretty comfortable for me. And the reverse headstock? Whoa, when I saw it, it was too hot to leave behind at the shop. Plus, I'm a sucker for the Blue it comes in. Three hundred seems fair. I'd say definitely pick one up. Set the action real low, and start shredding, bro!!
