So I'm turnin on my rig the the other day and sit down with my white Warmoth strat and do a little strumming with the neck pickup...sounds great as always. i flick to the bridge pickup and...NOTHING! No sound at all.
If i touch the pickup or the ring connected to it i get a faint signal that leaves as soon as I remove my finger. What's going on? Did a ground come loose or something?

Check all wiring. Could be ground, could be a cold joint, could be a switch. It's just a matter of getting there and troubleshooting.
You've got a signal going on there as the noise is inductive hum.
Prime suspect would be a cheap 3-way switch like the ones fitted to Epiphones, try switch cleaner spray or scrubbing the contacts with a little 1200 grade abrasive paper or a fibreglass brush. If the problem persists check for dry joints. If you have a meter, disconnect the signal wire and check the DC resistance. You should get a reading of around 15k#937;
It's probably that damn Alnico 2 magnet messing things up. Drop a ceramic in and all will be well
1 on the switch. But t-shoot the whole thing. Patience is a virtue- and it's cheap.
The A2! HaHAHAHHAAHAAhaaahAhAHAhAa!!!! You sleigh me, Santa!

Please keep your opinions out of it. There's nothing wrong with an A2 magnet. I'm sure you're being sarcastic but don't confuse the guy in to thinking it's the pickup when it's most likely not.
