E .042
A .032
D .024
G .016
B .016
E .024
I broke the two high B and E strings so I was left without a spare packet (dumb, I know)... I put a .016 as 2st string and .024 as 1st string.
This is on a strat-scale guitar. Will this damage the guitar?
i dunno. maybe. .024 on the high E is tooo big, it will take a lot of tension to tune that to E. why not just get another set?

You don't wanna do this too much tension and not playable imo.
I don't believe you can tune the 24 to the normal high E.
Hey who really needs the first and second string
As bryvincent said above, just get a new set of strings
Yeah, 24 on top is ****in insane!
I had a friend who tuned 0.24 into high E, when it broke it sliced his arm right open and he had to have stitches.
Be cautious.
Bee i just dint know you were SOOOO metal!!!!
Why didn't you put the .024quot; in the G position and use the two .016quot; in the B and E positions.
Not ideal, but better than what you've got there.
It won't damage the guitar BTW, but it might damage you....
I'd be too scared to tune the 24 to an E personally.. I even cringed first time I tuned a 12 to an E on an acoustic.. I thought it was gonna whip up and take my eye out
There's no way it can even fit in the nut properly, and I'd imagine the same for that 16 in B..
Just go buy a new set of strings!
With a heavy string on bottom, now you can do palm mutes AND pen!s mutes!
hahahaha....I know. Bad joke!
WTF did you do?!?!?! that's seriously f'ed up dude. hahaha
no no no no he might be on to somthing here
