hmm, we have quite the peer pressure at this forum After hearing your many positive testimonies about the famous Duncan Custom in a Les Paul, I had to buy a new one.. it's your fault

I used to have a Custom and changed the magnet in it twice, to derive both the C5 and CC.. all good and fun - but I did not have the Les Paul / Plexi setup back then.. I really feel the need to hear the Custom with this rig

I like your idea of 2 Les Pauls, one with a vintage pickup setup and one with a hotter setup .. we just need more guitars for all of these pickups, don't we

Full report and clips soon...

Def the SH5 w/ a 59n is prolly my fave hard rock/older metal combo from the Duncan line in a LP or other mahog body/neck guitar.

I'm setting up my 2 Gibsons sorta the same way,..The Firebird will be my quot;gainquot; setup, and I think I'm gonna keep the LP and put a pair of 59's in it for the quot;vintagequot; sounds.

Ha ha! The Duncan Custom is bootylicious in a Les Paul!

You can't help but quot;quot; when you play it!

Actually, talking of new guitars, I've been thinking about getting a Flying V to put my Custom in.

I play a custom/PG in and Explorer and I have played one in a LP and they are butter!!!! The custom is my favorite Duncan bridge pickup hands down!!!!

The Custom cleans up well and it definitely gets mean.. nice match to the a2pro neck also
