This is a work of art……Aaron is really an artist……….
Is that a hipshot hardtail? I've got one, it's a great bridge

Nice looking axe, the burst and figure of the top are both great.

I've never seen that strange upper horn design before; is there a slight carve into it or is that the photo?

Thanks.....Yup that is a hipshot...It was highly recomm by Aaron and other board members. there is a scoop but it is on the other side...the one you see there is probably light.....

It took a little time to get to the color I wanted it was worth it....thanks Aaron for your patience...

Beautiful guitar!
Really like it ...
Can you give us some details? Body wood, scale length, nut width, radius, profile, etc etc?

One piece mahogany body, with flamed maple top (I think it is AAA Aaron can correct me on that) maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25quot; scale, standard width (1 11/16 nut).....The thing about these guitars is that there are no standards, you can alter everything if you so desire...Aaron has a pattern, I altered the amount of Mahogany and maple that I wanted it...He hand carved the neck to the specs that I wanted it.....It's just great....Can't wait to get it.....

Gorgeous. Interesting shape too, havent seen something like that.

*hides dowel behind back*

More delight.....sweet guitar. It looks backwards.............and backwards again.........im confoosed.......

It is left handed...with the strings mounted right handed just for testing but the guitar is Left handed.... Did that make sense

btw, nice guitar

Correct....Actually I am right handed but for some odd reason have to play left handed. I tried to learn right handed but it did not feel right.....Strange....I've been playing like that for 16 years so I think is too late to go back now.....

Aaron does some spectactular work. I'll have a guitar done by hime one day. Interesting decision for the upper bout.....how did you arrive at that shape? The only thing keeping it from being perfect is the fact it's backwards.

hahahaha...thanks this design is all Aaron.....I only changed the amout of wood...and the features I wanted on the guitar.....

That is nice looking. Great top and the colour is just fantastic.
Dont know about the upper horn, though.

Hey all
thanks for all the excitement

yes - that's my double cutaway design (this is the flat top verison - i'm working on 3 carved tops as we speak)

i added 1/8 of mahogany to the mahogany back to add a little bit o'chunk to the sound
i strung it up righty so i coudl test it out thoroughly before handing it off
i can't play lefty to save my life
never tried

its got a pretty complicated switchign system and goes form the middle single coil to 2 humbucker (full or split) or any combo inbetween
and the maple is 4A with a rock maple neck, set neck, and rosewood fingerboard

thanks all

cheers

Holy smokes man, that's a thing of beauty!!!

VERY nice! Beautiful Work!
