What do you think about the paintjob on the body of my unfinished axe??

I know alot of people don't like the shape, so you don't need to comment that

Is that the quilt or is that the paint?

quilted maple with a kind of dark/grey translucent finish.

Looks cool to me man, sure will get some attention, you wont catch anyone else with one of those.

That shape definately had to be a black/grey colour, suits it perfectly.

Looks great, did you finish that yourself? I hope so as I'm gonna be finishing a body soon, and that would make me feel alot more confident.

pretty cool. Looks almost like a kind of snakeskin or something. I like the shape...its origional. That kind of thing should be praised lol.

Did you do that yourself? Or is it made by that Drac (?) fellow? I saw him do something similar.

It's cool, one of the better trans black finishes I've seen. I would have used more coats so you didn't have any bare wood showing, but it looks cool.

No, I didn't make it myself, neither the body or the paint, actually I don't know who painted it.. I just ordered the guitar, and the luthier I ordered it from doesn't paint them himself, he knows a painter which he sends the guitar bodies to, and then he paints them. I just wanted to know if you also thought I got a good paintjob on it.

And no neon green or pink stuff It'll get two black SD 'buckers.

It looks pretty sweet. Definitely a unique look. Add my name to the list of people who want to see this when it's finished.

Don't worry, I will post some pictures when it's totally finished..the luthier says it'll probably be finished this week. Then he'll take some pictures of it before I get it, and I'll show 'em.
