I'm planning on putting SD pups in my Ibanez as soon as I have the $$. I'm pretty shure I'm going to put a duncan custom in the bridge maybe a distortion?
I'm trying to decide between the jazz or full shred in the neck. My guitar has a thin mahogany body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. I want my neck pup to very articulate and emphisize the highs without being too shrill. I use this guitar for rock/metal so it will be used with distortion. let me know ypur opinion on these pickup or if there is one you think would better get the sound i'm looking for.
I haven't thought too much about what I'm putting in the mid position so I'll take any sugestions.
Thanks
What are you tuned too?
Mostly dream theatre and TSO.

Probably pretty good, the JBjr will be pretty hott though, so you might also want to check out the lil 59 if you are wanting slightly less output. What you'll essentially get is a PAF in the middle position.
JacksonMIA has a Peavey strat with a Cool rails in the neck, Hot rails in the middle, and a Custom Custom bridge. The 4th posititin is very...unholy lol. If it was me I would be looking at the lil 59 and JBjr.
