The filter stops working when products begin with 1. In otherwords it
only works for products that begin with a zero.

Looks like your Match formula is working; there just aren't many items
in the match list which begin with 1. See row 578, it produces a match
against 15091010

It's not about matching products that begin with 1. All of the products
in the quot;exceptionsquot; list beginning with a 0 match all th ones beginning
with another number e.g 84 etc do not match. Hopefully this shosw my

It appears you are caught in the text-vs-number mismatch dillemma (i.e.,
text lt;gt; numbers.) To illustrate, go to cell I678 amp; add an apostrophe in
front of the number, making it text. H3124 will then return 677.
Ensure your data are all either numbers or text.
Suggest you put =quot;'quot;amp;I2 in J2 amp; copy down, then copy amp; Paste
Special/values over the data in I2 down. Note quot;'quot; is double
quote-singlequote-double quote. This will ensure all data in the match
list is text. If necessary, you can do the same with the data you are
matching on as well.
