if filtered doc2 and want to copy and paste same stuff from doc1 to doc
2 but wont let me

thinks its because of the hidden cells

I use Ctrl Shift 8 (or Ctrl *). This will select all visible cells. You
can then copy them and paste them.
It's a bit of an odd combination but I use it loads ot times a day!
