I finally broke down and ordered the high gain set for my Triaxis and a complete retube kit for my 2:90 from Bob over at Eurotubes.
For $196 my rig better jump up and play itself.
No worries though, from everything I've read about his tubes in the Triaxis/2:90 it just about will.
I really like JJ power tubes. They have a nice glassy and bold tone. I'm sure they'll sound a little beefier than the Mesa branded Sovteks.
