Well let me epxlain this diea. I think we all have a plan of what gear we want and in what order and ane stimated amount of time to get them.
For me
This Summer - I plan on buying my first real acoustic guitar, a Taylor 314 possibly or anotehr taylor model of some sort.
Winter/New Year of 2006 - I wil definately have to get back into the elctric guitar groove and get myself an all tube electric guitar amp, possibly a mesa recto, marshal or fender. havent thought it out exactly but i know for sure ill be geting a new amp.
Some time in the very distant future - I always wanted one but could never justify it but i think after pratcing for while and geting all the neccessities listed above i will finally get my dream les paul standard.
So how about you guys? What is your plan of action?!??!?!?!?!?
Got my the Paul, Jag, and my Vox- Done
seriously... that's pretty much every sound I could want to make... I do need a good acoustic though.

I got my custom carvin and a gibson nighthawk.
I've been trying to get this warmoth project rolling for a long time now, but I run into hitches often, either with money or a design flaw/change. I want to get my dream strat done already.
eventually I want to get a mesa F-50 or dual rec.
Oh, and I need to get a bass before the end of summer.
sell the Bassman, get an Orange Rockerverb 50, maybe sell off my BC Rich (PM me i guess) and get a decent bass combo...umm then start my parts Tele project

well i have a list of guitars i want to own or build or have built and little by little i keep knocking them off the list as i have the cash....just knocked another one off tonight hehe.
as for amps i just ordered an engl powerball and splawn cab which i wanted for a while! the only other amp i have bad GAS for is a diezel herbert but that will have to wait since it's just crazy $$$$.

To get to the point where others are moving it for me, and I just walk in and plug in.
No plan at present pending massive financial damage caused by album release...buy a copy and I´ll be able to buy gear again sooner
If I can do drums in my friend's little studio I won't be needing this but if not I need a diddy with 8 mic pre's and an a/dat lightpipe out.
I need a decent amp for when I start rerecording guitar parts. I haven't decided if I'm going line6 or getting a decent tube amp yet but I think much of it will depend on how things pan out with space downstairs (ie if I have an area I can set up for recording I'll go for the real deal). Possibillities include mesa f-30, peavey jsx, or maybe a used jcm800 or something similar...
Other than that I can get good sounds from what I have now. Although with a tube amp I suppose comes an iso cab :P
this summer (in the next couple weeks) i plan on buying a JB and an EMG 81. thats about all i can afford. from december to april i got a bass, a gibson explorer, and an ovation (MIA) 12 string. so im damn near broke. no more new guitars for a while. next summer though, i plan on doing a warmoth RR
my plan of action is NOT to buy any more stuff and practice more.
I 'm saving for a marshall jcm800 2210 from 1983... but difficult to find

good plan, i plan to do exactly the same thing, right after i replace the speaker in my amp with Vintage 30
Work me butt off until I can get a Blue Traynor, then I'll have an amp to play with - I'll have the bare minimum.
After that, I'll work for a Banzai Fireball ii to get the overdriven sounds I need.
After that come the Gamp;L's!!
Won't be for a while until I get everything, though. A long while! I'm still happy.
I get struck by GAS every once in a while and the last time I got hit hard was when I saw the CAA OD-100 being reissued. I'm trying hard to resist!
I have all the gear right now that I need and am very happy. From now on it'll be all about learning theory and becoming a much better musician.
I have just bought a new amp, so that field is dead for a while. I do however have this strange urge to get a tele, though. So I guess thats the plan.
my course of action is as follows:
buy a tone pro's bridge and tailpiece for my les paul and get new electronics
buy a new neck and middle pickup for my charvel
after that, im going to need a job to get what i want
i might just go with the whole les paul and marshall thing, always works and hasn't failed me yet. maybe i'll get a DSL50 and a cab
No plan here.
I don't have any particular GAS pangs at the moment. If an EBMM Axis Super Sport came by at the right price, I might go for that but there's not really any wish list or time line at the moment.
I bought a Duncan Pickup Booster,Vox Valvetronix head and matching 2x12 Vox cab...I'd like a quot;Tweak Fuzzquot; and a Ric guitar down the road, but for right now,I'm done and I'm happy....
I'd also like to buy one of those MOJO amps you build yourself, but later....
My rig is *nearing* completion. Next at hand are new speakers for my 2x12. I was originally going to put a V30 in one side and a Greenback in the other (since this seems to be the go-to combo) but I've recently become pretty interested in the Celestion neodymium designs - reduced weight and much higher volume handling without cone cry.
But how do they sound???
Several of the new Eminence Red Coat designs look pretty darn cool, too - U.S. made and the price is very right.
TOO MANY CHOICES!
Im going to get a Avatar 2x12 cab with V 30's and a Peavey XXL footswitch and then a Boss Ns-2
