Ok guys I just got a new set of strings (eb not even slinky's) and the second string (.016) is extremely short. It's so short it barley even reaches the tuning peg for the high e string. So I just need to know what I'm supposed to do with a string thats to short to wind??
thanks,
alex.
i don't know if you can use that....i'd send EB an e-mail and tell them...see how good they are at customer service...if they are real good they should send you a free set of strings or a few sets if your real real lucky. either way it can't hurt to send them an e-mail.

Will Do. I'm gonna string up the rest of the strings. And if any other string are ****ed up I'm gonna switch to D'addario's.
You just got a bad pack. I use EB beefy's on my Dean V that has the huge 3x3 V headstock and all the strings are plenty long enough for it...
Wow, I'm a ****en retard!!! I guess the string is long enough. It was cough on something before it goes into the string hole. god I'm a dumbass
Heh that happens to me sometimes on the Strat. It gets cought on the bridge or the back cover and then I dont notice and try to tune up and it pops lol. Scary experience.
