This pickup started life has a JB and was rewound by the SD Custom Shop to the El Diablo. This pickup retains the slug polepieces instead of the allen hex pole pieces that are standard on the El Diablo . Color is white and it`s tremspaced. I`ve never got a chance to install it but forums member Shredog has one and this what he had to say about it.
quot;14.5k it has an alnico V magnet and is 5.5k resonat peak . Output wise it is a little less than a JB and more than a Screamin Demon . Tone wise it is really a cross between the 2 , the super high end of the demon is toned down a little and the extra lower mid range thing the JB has is toned down . just a guess but i would say it is bass=5/mid=5/treb=8 on the duncan eq scalequot;
