We are trying to create a form that we have to take some of the
infomation and paste it into another form that does not allow more than
100 characters. Is there a way to limit the number of characters in a
cell with a message if it is exceeded without using macros?--

In the quot;Allowquot; drop down choose quot;Text Lengthquot;
In the quot;Dataquot; drop down choose quot;Less than or equal toquot;
Enter 100 in the box

Take a look at:
Data gt; Validation
On the Settings Tab click on the quot;Allow:quot; drop down and choose Text
Length
Then go to the other tabs to set your message(s)--
