I'll put it to you this way. A friend of mine bought his childhood home, where his dad and a buddy had built a brick barbecue pit in the back yard. It went straight up for about two feet. Straight as an arrow. That's when they started drinking beer in the afternoon. After that, the thing looks like the leaning Tower of Pisa...lol

A PBR or 12 will make a Gorilla amp sound decent!!!!! LOL!!!! Maybe thats the key to liking the sound of a JB???????

Nah, You would need full case of 24 for the JB to sound good into a Gorilla.

Of course your amp sounds better after a few beers.... your tubes are hotter.... Ha ha ha... Well it is true somewhat... Every Boogie i have ever played thru gets better and better sounding the longer it is on.

I tried playing while sloshed the other day. My tempo was swaying as bad as I was, and half the time I couldn't even find the freakin notes on the fretboard.

So yeah, a few beers maybe.....but not too many.

After a few beers things sound worse cause I don't play as well.

The best when you find the balance where you sound awesome, but are still able to play without falling over!

lol i used to be the same.. graphtech nut, ferraglide saddles, a change of string gauge and a year later, still to break a string

if i've been drinking, i start checking everything constantly, especially valve amps.. i'll check the speaker's connected at least 6 times before switching on
