Well I am thinking of putting a Dimebucker pickup in the bridge in conjuction with a 59 in the neck. I have a coil splitter on my guitar and really like the feature and don't want to get rid of it so I was wondering if the dimebucker will split or not. Also i was wondering if there are any other pickups SD makes which would be good for metal. Like JBs or something. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Custom.
Which custom. The SH-5 or SH-11
i imagine he means the sh- 5
most ppl say cc or custom custom for sh-11
Yeah, I meant the SH-5 (or TB-5 if your guitar has a trem or is a newer Gibson).
From the technical side of it, any humbucker thats 4-wire can be split, and the Dimebucker is 4-wire. I don't know how it would sound, though.

The SH-13 Dimebucker can be split and actually sounds pretty cool that way IMO
