Does anybody knows what SD P-90's are used in a Hamer monaco 3 ?
Are they custom made for the model or just stock P-90's ?
Hey CCC. Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum. Hamer uses an SP90-2n Hot in the neck and an SP90-3b Custom in the bridge. They are stock pickups.

I believe that's the same set my '96 Hamer Gold Top came with. Killer set of P-90's. Great growl and tone for ZZ Top style blues and boogie - or any blues and rock style.

thanks for the warm welcome !!!
What about the middle pickup ?
It's also an SP90-2n.
I am deep into Hamer USA's ( I have 9) and I have a Monaco 3 on custom order.
In fact most of my Hamers have stock SD's in, and I am perfectly happy with them.
That's cool. I have a Special Korina Jr. on custom order. Mine will have a 25 1/2quot; scale length. You can read about it and see pictures of it while it's being built here. I should have it right around July 15.

My Hamer USA Studio Custom came with a Jazz neck and JB bridge pickup. I tried a bunch of differant pickups in it over the course of a couple of years, and in the end put the Jazz and JB back in again. That combo just sounded the best in that guitar after all. I love Hamers...at least as much as a Strat amp; Tele guy can love any guitar with humbuckers!
I can't find the quot;buildingquot; pictures. I didn't knew Hamer did that. I'll have to contact Kim Keller on this !!!
Mine will be a Monaco 3 in Tobacco sunburst -no black, cognac center, cream pickups, bound F-holes and a ebony fretboard. Supposed to be ready on my birthday (30 of June)
