1. When did Gamp;L get sued?

I think you will indeed get that axe, but I think he incorporated his creative writing skills into this auction.

If Gamp;L has never been sued, then all their guitars are quot;pre-lawsuitquot;.

Quick! Buy up all you can before they do get sued!

Ok... if leo fender built this gamp;l guitar... and there was a lawsuit against it... why the hell would leo fender sue himself??? Did I read that wrong? quot;pre-lawsuit gamp;l guitar built by leo fender himself in his officequot;

Thats about the only thing i thought i read wrong or was wrong but i guess it isnt.

...and I'll bet it needs Duncans!

I can say 2 things for sure...in the early days at Gamp;L (when Leo would have been building guitars) there was a paper tag glued to the body in the neck pocket thqt the builder would sign after the guitar was completed...if Leo really built that guitar his name will be on that tag. Second, closest Gamp;L ever came to being sued that I know of was in their first year of production, they were building the forst guitar (the guitar that became the ASAT) and Grescth odreded them to change the name of the guitar...Leo was calling the guitar Broadcaster (Just like he had done some 30 years before at Fender) and the people at Grescth made them stop (Just like they had some 30 years before!). There are a little less than 500 Gamp;L Broadcasters, every one I have ever seen and/or heard/read about is all black with an ebony fingerboard. The guitar on Ebay was made after the Grescth thing because it is an ASAT.

someone should e-mail him and ask about the paper tag thing?!

good lookin' guitar regardless though...?!

Does anyone know when or if Leo was bought out if Fender
