Hey guys I've been looking for new pickups for my Ibanez SA160QM and I really need your guys help because I haven't had the opportunity to try the variety of pickups out. I own a guitar with a mahagony body and maple neck. However, the body is really thin so the tone won't be nearly as fat as say....a Les Paul. I'm looking for a bridge pickup that will give me a nice fat tone without muddiness. In addition, I'm gonna be using the guitar for a variety of stuff including metalish songs (megadeth) and punkish songs (weezer/sum41). So far...i've been leaning more towards Dimarzio pickups such as the Tone Zone, Air Zone, and Breed. But feel free to recommend SD pickups. Oh yea, since this is a mahagony bodied guitar...I dont want too much low end becuase I'm afraid the mahagony will make it muddy.

Original Parallel Axis Trembucker. It will do everything you are asking and then some. If you want slightly lower output, try the Blues Trembucker. 2 of the most underrated pickups SD makes, and either will fatten up any trem equiped super strat type guitar.
