It's really amazing how many makes amp; models of electric guitars that there are to choose from, not that I am complaining!

It is always amusing that when I play a particular style of guitar, I say to myself, yeah, this is the best one of them all. Then, I'll pick up another style and say the same thing!

For example, I'll be playing an LP style, and it just sounds so sweet and powerful, I'll think there is no way that sound can be beat.

Then I'll pick up a strat and play something way up on the fretboard and it sounds so good I'll say to myself there's no way that can be topped!

Then I'll pick up my '51 and it just sounds so unique, bright amp; crunchy that at that moment I just know that this is the best guitar in the world!

I guess the lesson here is that you should always keep an open mind when it comes to sound and trying out different gear. You can call yourself an LP guy or a strat guy, but when you do that you really close yourself off to other great sounds.

Yeah, I agree with that, with your whole post here.

I guess the other lesson here is to have enough axe gear choices to keep all your bases covered.

Only Strats are good.

I agree with that too. As all my guitars are Strats at the moment.

I have a few different types of guitars but the playing the strat always feels like home.
