'foamy strikes again!!!

Anyways, back on topic.

To do pinch harmonics, you pick the note and then swiftly graze the side of your pickhand thumb(thats what I do, some do it other ways) over the note right after you pick it. You would get best results with a high-output bridge pickup through a high-gain(perferably tube) amp.

hope that helps,
alex.

Haha, when I first saw people doin them, I didn't know how they got them in one quick motion! It's done by down picking the string, and following through with your thumb lightly and quickly touching the string. If you don't hit the sweet spot, the note will just deaden. Each note has a slightly different spot where it will work, you will just have to get the feel for it.
At first, start out doin em slow. Pick the string, then move your thumb back to touch the string. Once you get the hang of it, you will start to get quicker at it, and eventually get it in one quick, smooth downstroking motion!

Be patient, hope it helps!

Damn, beaten to it!
