Here a new little track I made. 2 versions:

With my CC equipped custom chambered LP style Jacaranda:

Bet Ahead Jacaranda

and a more derranged version with my early 198? Fernandes lawsuite stratocaster with 1982 Fender pickups:Bet Ahead Fernandes Strat

Both clips are played with AC Booster Engl Screamer.

Marin, cool backing! I grabbed it, hope to do something over this myself.
The Jacaranda clip is excellent! Nice thick tone but still with an edge. Great.
I'm surprised at the Fernandes clip. The Strat sounds thicker than I've heard any other Strat w/single coils sound. Still has a bit of the Strat hollowness to it though. Nice clip again. I think I prefer the Jacaranda in this round

Thanks. Yes, the Jacaranda has that really thick sound due to the CC whilst it still maintains a bit of bite due to the fact that its chambered.

very nice indeed, marin ... the jacaranda has my vote, but jus tby a bit .. very lush tone .. rounded top, but still enough edge to cut

Real nice playing....esp on the strat track! Love the tone. Almost makes me want to get a strat.

I'm glad you like it. I have mixed feelings about that guitar, I was thinking of selling it, but it always sounds good when recorded.

Man I love the tone from both clips but I do like the jacaranda a tad better; very moody...

I only have time to check out the first clip right now, but it sounds great! The CC is far and away my favorite hot bucker. This clip captures it perfectly. Beautiful mids and lush high end. Very tastefull!!

I think I like the Strat better....the harmonics were great!
