Hello, I'm new to this forum.
I've been using s on my Dime3ST guitar, and now I ordered 2 more pickups for another guitar of mine.

But I made an error, instead of a SD '59 Neck pickup, I mistakenly ordered a '59 Bridge pickup, now I'm wondering, can I use the Bridge pickup in the Neck position without too many problems? The guitar it's going to be used on is a Washburn Dime333.

using a bridge pickup in the neck can work sometimes, but i'm really not sure how '59s interact with the change..

don't get me wrong, i *have* seen a video where the fella used a '59b in the neck for shred, and he sounded fine! very vai-ish.. hot and smooth, but clear and liquid..

though make sure you keep all the packaging nice.. the trading post on this forum is a wicked place to hookup and swap pickups.. i've done it about a dozen times now

good luck man, let us know how it sounds!

The answer to your question is, quot;try it and see.quot; The difference in the 'b' and 'n' pickups is in their 'voicing.' It won't damage the guitar or the pickup, but you may or may not like the sound.

There's always the 21-day return policy.

Thanks, when it arrives, I'm just going to try it, maybe it's a sound I've been looking for I'll post here when it's done.

keep it a little lower in the pickup route than you normally would with a neck humbucker and it should be alright

You can also try swapping in an Alnico 2 or Alnico 3 magnet to soften it some if it's too loud or muddy.
