Anyobne familiar with Fab Amps out of Vancouver B.C.? I'm interested a low watt tube amp and this guy offers about three models that can have 2 to 8 watts depending on tubes and a power cut option. The idea of a 2.5/5 watt for use at home is very appealing.

Never heard of them, but the prices are great ... and he uses Dokken for the metal clip! Sound is pretty good.
DITTO.....never heard of them, but those clips sure sound good.
The reviews on HC seem o.k. too.....maybe try contacting one of the people that wrote a review amp; pummel them with questions Then fill us in
Just to let you know. I asked the same question on the Gear Page, and set off quit the Kerfuffle. Many people happy with their fabs, but some would rather dance with the devil . The second response was essentially quot;Oh no. not againquot;
I'd suggest looking at Harmony Central. Someone suggested checking the names of the reviewers for second opinions a few months later, Still their were a number of very positive reviews.
I think I may stick to local ( with 100 Km of home )
He use to post on HC all the time. He was a cool guy. I've heard a few of his amps, and they sounded great.
i read that thread over at the Gear Page.....if he does truly have questionable safety procedures, thats just totally lame
