I got a JB/59 combo in an LTD (ESP) H-400; mahogany body. I want to rewire the 5-way switch (I'm getting a megaswitch) to enable both neck and bridge to play at the same time. I'm hoping to get a quot;biggerquot;/ fuller sound. Does anyone have this combo hooked up like that; or know how it might sound together?
Sorry, mine's just a plain old three way toggle. It sounds like it might be cool, but make sure that you wire them in the right direction. If not, your sound won't be quot;biggerquot; at all. Let us know how it sounds if you try it. I love the JB/59 combination.
if you want a bigger sound then puttin both pups in series is what you would like to try
