Just want to know the tonal characteristics of 2 15 inch speakers in action. I have a spare D130f that i might recone locally and throw in an EV closed back bass cab.

Anybody used a 2x15 before?

I used to use a 2x15 for bass. It was extremely thick. My guitarist for fun once ran a 2x15 and a 4x12. It was thick, dense, blaring, loud... and thick.

I have an old Sunn 2x15 cab that I used to use...I played my trusty Yamaha with a Big Muff, an Ampeg V4-B and a 2x15...I sounded like QOTSA bedore QOTSA!

yeah, im just out rip up a big clean tone, and i figure my bandmaster can provide more than enough brightness to make bassy sounding 15 inchers sound good. These 2x15's were closed backs right? I'm thinking about sealing and insulating my peavey cab...
